Riad

Straight lines and a postmodern look give this wall-mounted model a unique appearance. With its elongated shape, the Riad’s lines appear to stretch out thanks to its compact height (86x45 cm). The burner holder sets the tone through contrast, with the back plate in black and the front section in white. These two parts, crafted from thick, well-finished steel, lend weight to this fireplace (16 kg), a mark of quality. Finally, a glass panel lends the unit a certain depth: it is securely attached to the burner holder by two elegantly crafted screws made of high-quality chrome-plated steel.

The burner, the combustion unit

Since ethanol is primarily about aesthetics and enjoyment, many of you might assume it’s not meant for heating—but that’s a misconception! With its adjustable 1.5-liter burner, supplied with all its accessories, the Riad produces 3 kW of heat when in operation. That’s enough to bring warmth and comfort to your living room on a slightly chilly evening. We expect a temperature increase of about 4 to 5 degrees in a standard-sized living room.

Installation

Those of you who aren’t particularly handy can rest assured: Riad can be installed in 15 minutes flat. The first step is wall mounting. This involves marking the back of the unit to determine the spacing of the mounting brackets (included) that will be attached to the wall. Once these brackets are secured, Riad is mounted onto its support. Everything is explained in the instructions. Next, install the glass. Position it over the holes and then secure it with the screws provided.
