Characterized byproportions that are quite unusual in the world of ethanol heating, Velvet’s design is inspired by wood-burning fireplaces: it closely mimics the mantel of classic fireplaces. Yet Velvet is by no means rustic; its soft, rounded lines give it a modern and contemporary look.
This model features a fireguard that is both attractive and safe, as well as a burner support with several perforations that allow for good air and heat circulation—these are reminiscent of the air intake vents found on traditional fireplaces.

The Combustion Chamber

For a high-performance ethanol fireplace, you need a combustion unit that’s up to the task. Velvet is equipped with a 50-cm bio-burner: Its 3.2-liter tank is energy-efficient, with a maximum consumption of 0.5 liters per hour. It produces—during its 5-hour runtime—3.5 kW of heating power, equivalent to a conventional convection heater. It’s worth noting that this burner is adjustable and comes with handy accessories.
