The design of the Oslo XL portable stove features a wide, flat base, ensuring that the stove sits securely on the floor. This is already a major plus in terms of safety. This base serves two purposes. First, it acts as a burner holder, but it also supports a rear baffle plate—much like the cast-iron plates found in old fireplaces—and a fire-resistant glass panel. The flame is therefore well protected, ensuring accident prevention.
Heat Output
The Oslo XL is equipped with our 2 L combustion unit: needless to say, performance is top-notch. This adjustable burner, with a burn time of about 3 hours and 30 minutes, produces 4 kW of heat when in operation. This provides enough heat for a room larger than a standard living room. Of course, this fireplace comes with its adjustment tools.
