Ellipse

This model is available in several versions: small and large, as well as open on both sides at the firebox or closed on one side.

Ellipse is a real oddity in the world of ethanol: while most models are wall-mounted or freestanding, this stove is designed to be mounted... To the ceiling! It shares the characteristics of suspended fireplaces but runs on ethanol: the flue pipe is actually just for show, since the combustion of ethanol does not produce any gases that need to be vented outside the house.

This model, with its matte black body, is available in four versions, offering four different tube lengths:

• 170, 190, 220, and 250 cm in total height, including the 39 cm height of the base,
• For each of these sizes, there is a version closed on one side and open on both sides at the firebox
• Note that the body itself has overall dimensions of W65 x H39 x D40 cm.

Heat Output

Ellipse is equipped with a 2L combustion unit: when fully open, it consumes 0.6 liters per hour, providing 4 hours of burn time. This unit allows the model to deliver 4 kW of heating power. It comes with its own adjustment tool.

Ceiling Mounting

This is the key feature of this model: although installation is quick and straightforward, it’s important to work “step by step” (see image at the top of the page). The first step involves securing the body to the tube using the 3 Allen screws provided.

The second step involves positioning the chimney on the ceiling. Mark the drill holes with a pencil.

Once the holes are drilled, insert the ceiling anchors through the tube’s mounting points and then into the ceiling. Secure them, and you’re done!
